High Holidays 2025

  • Celebrate the High Holidays with Chabad of North Las Vegas!

Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year. Marking the day G‑d created Adam and Eve, it’s celebrated as the "birthday of the world." The festival of Rosh Hashanah 5786 begins at sundown on the eve of Tishrei 1 (Sept. 22) and ends after nightfall on Tishrei 2 (Sept. 24).

Yom Kippur fast day is the holiest day of the year when we are closest to G‑d and to the quintessence of our own souls. It is the Day of Atonement. This year, Yom Kippur is observed from several minutes before sunset on 9 Tishrei (Oct. 1) to after nightfall on 10 Tishrei (Oct. 2).
