Chabad of Aliante & North Las Vegas was established in 2021 and directed by Rabbi Sholom & Leah Wilansky.

OUR STORY:

Rabbi Sholom Wilansky was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to a family of Chabad emissaries. Growing up, he was immersed in Jewish outreach and community work, which instilled in him a passion for helping others. Rabbi Wilansky pursued his rabbinical studies at various yeshivas in New York, France, and England, where he was ordained as a Rabbi.
He is known for his kindness, understanding, and innovative approach to sharing Jewish wisdom. With a unique ability to make complex Torah concepts accessible and relatable, Rabbi Wilansky creates a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their Jewish heritage. His warm and caring demeanor has earned him a reputation as a trusted leader and mentor in the community.

Rebbetzin Leah Wilansky, a Las Vegas native, was born and raised in the city, where her parents founded and direct Chabad of Summerlin. Growing up in a family dedicated to Jewish outreach and education, Leah developed a strong passion for sharing Jewish values and traditions with others. Leah pursued her studies in Chicago and Israel, and later became an educator in New York, where she met Rabbi Sholom. Her talent for teaching and inspiring others has been a valuable asset to the community. Rebbetzin Leah is also renowned for her culinary skills, particularly her mouthwatering Challah and delicious baked goods, and delicious Friday night dinners. Her hospitality has helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, drawing people together and fostering a sense of community.
